The Vertex brand hides the Russian Vertex engineering group. The head office is located in Moscow. It was founded in 1993. It specializes in the development, production, sale and service of domestic and semi-industrial climatic equipment. For more than 20 years of development, the holding has expanded to several dozens of legal entities located in various regions of the country and abroad. There is no own production. Most of the orders for the assembly of equipment are placed at 3 Chinese plants: Gree, Aux, TCL.
A network of distributors and service centers is located in Russia and some CIS countries. In foreign countries, the company's products are represented slightly.
The range of products includes systems, ventilation, air conditioning (cassette, window, floor, wall, etc.), heating (convectors, floor heating, heat guns, curtains, etc.), equipment for controlling climate systems and systems heating.
Main product lines
Conventionally, the range of products is divided into two classes: semi-industrial and domestic. Both classes intersect.
Semi-industrial positioned for use in offices, business centers, small industrial premises, public institutions, etc. Those. where the volume of the premises is larger or it is required to remove excessive industrial heat. They are distinguished by greater power and variety (split systems, channel, multi-zone systems, monoblock systems, etc.). Household air conditioning systems are intended for use in apartments, private houses, small rooms. With the exception of several models, all equipment is designed to maintain the microclimate in one room. The components are mainly made in China: either proprietary - Gree, or copies of well-known brands - HIGHLY (Chinese HITACHI), Qingang (Chinese DAIKIN), GMCC (Chinese Toshiba).

An air blowing system was developed to better mix the air masses and evenly cool the entire room;
- Single invertor split systems. Series Falcon. Smooth climate control and the best indicators for energy conservation. The area of standard rooms is up to 50 sq.m. Air ionizer and biological filter system (silver-ion, lithium-enzyme). Airflow control to the location of the control panel;
- Two-zone split systems. Series Crab. Two indoor units are connected to one outdoor cooler. Indoor units are independent and can be configured for different modes in different rooms. Effective total area up to 60 - 70 sq.m. (30 - 40 sq.m. each room).

There is no remote control. There is no forced ventilation mode. The filter is plastic, dust-collecting, does not require replacement, it is enough to periodically rinse under running water. - Vertex Triton 12 - mounted on a wall, the maximum possible distance to the outdoor unit is 15 meters. Modes of cooling, heating and ventilation. Air drainage. Self-diagnosis of malfunctions. The simplest and cheapest split vertex systems.

Vertex Remote Control and Air Conditioner Instructions
The simplest, window, air conditioners do not have remote controls and the operation modes are set directly on the device block. More complex models have two control options: a remote control for the air conditioner and minimal control on the indoor unit. Additionally, some models can be controlled via Wi-Fi.
Remote controls for climate control are universal. Modes not supported by this model will be unavailable on the remote control. On all types of remotes, an intuitive selection of the main operating modes:
- Cooling (Cool);
- Heating (HEAT);
- Ventilation (Fan);
- Drainage (DRY);
- Automatic (AUTO).
In addition to them, in each model, operation modes specific to this equipment can be added. The instruction for air conditioners contains a detailed description of all operating modes and their task from the remote control. Due to possible significant differences between the models, remotes and instructions from different models may not be suitable. The buttons on the indoor units allow you to turn on / off the equipment to the already configured operating modes. They also have an indicator that displays error codes for air conditioners.
Vertex Air Conditioner Error Codes
The option is available only for models with self-diagnosis. An exact description of the faults is given in the manual for the respective model. Codes can be reflected on the indicator built into the indoor unit and on the remote control display.
Fault indications appear to flash certain characters. For example:
- E1 flashes once - damage to the sensor for measuring the temperature in the room;
- E2 flashes twice - damage to the sensor measuring the temperature of the pipe in the room;
- E6 flashes six times - damage to the fan motor of the indoor unit.
It is not necessary that the error code that appears means a serious repair of the air conditioner.Perhaps some kind of failure has occurred. You can try to turn off the device to start (it is better to completely turn off the power by unplugging it from the wall outlet or turning off the machine, depending on the particular power supply implementation scheme). Wait a couple of minutes and turn it on again. During this time, there will be a discharge of capacities, discharge of electrostatics, zeroing of random errors in the control system. If after this the error continues to flash, it is better to call a service technician.
User reviews
Reviews about the Vertex air conditioner are ambiguous. One of the main advantages that buyers note is the cost is comparatively lower than the cost of models of similar manufacturers of similar power. The hardware warranty also bribes - 3 years. There is also a slight noise during operation.
Air conditioning vertex reviews vary on different models. More expensive models with additional features get more positive comments. Such models correspond to the declared characteristics. They have a beautiful design and fit into a modern interior.
For cheap models, there is a mismatch with the passport characteristics. In particular, lack of power to cool the room, not enough power heater.
Expensive models also have a number of complaints about the operation of the equipment. The automatic climate control mode is difficult to set, the device monitors the set temperature in a peculiar way.
