Precision cabinet-type air conditioners are specially designed for rooms equipped with precision electronic equipment: switches, server, telecommunication centers. The work of complex electronics directly depends on the microclimate in the room. The cabinet precision air conditioner is good in that all its units fit in one housing, providing filtering, cooling and ventilation.
Types of cupboard air conditioners
There are two types of cabinet precision air conditioners:
- monoblocks with water or freon cooling;
- systems with external air-cooled condensers.
Greater demand is observed for the second type of climatic equipment.
Many cabinet precision air conditioners are equipped with a freecooling option.
For its implementation, it is necessary to integrate an additional cooling module. The operating mode of the cooling circuits depends on the outdoor temperature. Therefore, freecooling saves up to 50% of electricity. Due to the freecooling system, the cost of equipment increases by an average of 15%.
Models with a combined type of cooling are very convenient where there is constant access to cold water. Then the system independently switches the type of cooling if necessary.
Precision cabinet-type air conditioners also differ in the chilled air supply scheme:
- top
- lower;
- frontal (displacement method).
Power cabinet air conditioners
Precision cabinet-type air conditioners are available in capacities from 5 to 165 kW. Most often, equipment of small or medium power is purchased.
Advantages of cabinet air conditioners
- The compactness of the equipment allows it to be used in rather cramped rooms filled with electronics;
- Work on cleaning, maintenance and replacement of parts is carried out through the front walls. That is, the air conditioner can be pushed close to the wall;
- You can debug equipment operation without turning off the fan of the indoor module, as it is separated by an intermediate panel, which also has soundproofing properties. Excellent sound insulation combined with powerful work;
- Precision air conditioners operate in a wide temperature range on the street +45 to -50 degrees without additional "winter sets";
- The equipment is controlled by a microprocessor, which is connected to a common console and is controlled remotely by the dispatcher of the entire building.
