First of all, you need to make sure the integrity of the freon pipeline. For this, special leak detectors are used. In the rays of a small handheld device, all the places through which the refrigerant evaporates shine:
- All freon from the system merges into the cylinder. It can be vented into the air, but the first option is more economical;
- The system is evacuated;
- We learn from the instructions: how much freon is needed for the system and for each linear meter of the route;
- The cylinder is mounted on the balance and as much refrigerant as needed is discharged into the system.

Subcooling the air conditioner

The cooling temperature is indicated in the instructions, most often it is from 10 to 12 degrees.

There are special units that calculate the amount of subcooling and automatically supply the necessary amount of refrigerant. The superheat temperature is the difference between the temperature at which freon evaporates and the temperature behind the evaporator. How to fill the air conditioner with freon for overheating? To determine it, it is necessary to change the pressure at the suction valve and the temperature of the suction pipe at 15 centimeters from the compressor.
Overheating should be from 5 to 7 degrees. If the figure is higher, it is necessary to charge the air conditioner.
