Each Polaris air conditioner has the option of self-diagnosing problems. If faults are detected, the electronics turn off the air conditioner and display the air conditioner error code Polaris.
To display error codes for Polaris air conditioners, diodes are used located on the front side of the indoor unit. If the self-test detects a malfunction, the diodes blink or glow at a predetermined frequency corresponding to a specific error. If several faults are detected at the same time, the most serious code is displayed first.
