Supply air conditioners not only create the optimum temperature in the room, but also provide a stream of fresh, cleaned air from the street. This pleasure is not cheap, however, a healthy microclimate in a home or office is worth the extra investment. There are several options for air handling units of air conditioners.

Types of air handling units
All air handling units of air conditioners are divided into the following conditional groups:
- monoblock;
- split systems with inflow function;
- ventilators.
Monoblock air handling units with air conditioning are installed outside the building.
This is the best option for supplying prepared air to the premises. But they cost more than other types of supply air conditioners. The design contains a heater that warms the air in the cold season. Its power is up to 2 kilowatts. With the help of such a design, you can serve the entire apartment at once, spreading the air ducts around the premises. Thus, for one apartment (a small office or a store) only one air handling unit with air conditioning is required.
Monoblocks are of two types:
- Providing an inflow of purified and brought to the desired air temperature. At the request of the client, it is possible to supply only a coarse filter or a complex air filtration system;
- Providing both inflow and outflow of air with heat recovery. Such systems are much more expensive than the previous ones.
Ventilators are mounted in each room separately. They do not change the temperature of the air supplied to the room. The degree of cleaning depends on the type of filters installed in the ventilator.
There are window and wall ventilators. Some models are controlled using a wireless remote control. These types of supply air conditioners also carry out heat recovery.
Air Conditioners
This is a separate group of air conditioners with an additional inflow function. The following types of air conditioners are produced with air supply:
- window;
- channel;
- split systems (some, for example, Daikin Ururu-Sarara).
For an apartment, the most convenient option can be considered a split system with air flow. Such models are also presented by Mitsubishi Corporation. Supply air conditioners combine all the amenities of high-quality air conditioning (many modes, settings, a sophisticated filtering and ionization system) and fresh air from the street.
